
Arrowhead Game Studios announced the release of a dev blog of sorts, explaining the actions behind the weapon balancing associated with the patch. The blog released in the earlier afternoon on the 7th, but I was tied up for a bit, and never got around to a post for it. Generally, I would usually include what I could gather from the post, but in most of this particular cases, I feel it best that you take a look at their official message. In truth, I haven’t been able to keep up with the community in all the games I cover, and I’m not sure if this dev blog might be a response to some community outrage, or just their attempt to sincerely explain what the weapon balancing changes were about to circumvent any possible outrage later. From what I have gathered about Arrowhead Game Studios, their devs, and the community, at least at that time, is they seem to care about what their player base thinks over all (or at a majority at least), and they try to keep the game challenging, yet fun. I know I love the sense of humor from their posts and video shorts! Alas, yet another great game that just hasn’t got a lot of play from our group, and it doesn’t appear that it will anytime soon either.
