Technically speaking, Qvaid and I have played Dysmantle before. It is not a new title for us as we were playing it prior to a break in gaming back in May.
After completing our play through of Revenge of the Savage Planet we decided to head back to the apocalyptic environments and see if we could find our way into some more adventures.
We fired Dysmantle back up shortly after completing our play through of Revenge of the Savage Planet on Wednesday evening. If you ask either of us, we started out a bit lost. We couldn’t remember where we left off, some of the game play mechanics were also lost to time for us. By the end of the night, however, we had got back into the swing of things.
Prior to our break, Dysmantle was shaping up to be quite a great adventure. We had just decided at the time, with some work projects I had going on, that it might be best to find an alternative method to hang out after work on Monday – Thursday evenings. At the time, that alternative method turned out to be binge watching TV shows recommended to us by family and friends.
In any case, I’m happy to be back into the gaming scene with Qvaid, and looking forward to all the new shenanigans we might find in our tromp through the apocalyptic world, Dysmantle has to offer!
