Iron Gate announced a dev blog for Valheim early this morning – Hervor Bloodtooth. It looks like the focus is on the development of the Deep North biome! The blog was just a bit of a teaser with a new take. There is a bit of eye candy, so I suggest you head over to their official website, and have a peek at it, here. A video, and a couple images are awaiting your viewing pleasure! I dig the roleplay aspect they seem to be taking on this approach!
Falken and Iron are still playing Valheim on a fairly regular basis. Error doesn’t particularly care for Valheim (at least at this time), so we’ve been biding our time in The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria for now. Ironically the games share quite a bit more game mechanics than I originally thought possible.
Development Blog: Hervor Bloodtooth
January 29, 2025
Greetings Vikings!
We hope you’ve had a good ending to 2024, and that 2025 is treating you well thus far! Here at Iron Gate we’re still fully focused on developing the Deep North biome, and we have our hands full with enemies, weapons and dungeons alike.
This month’s teaser is going to take on a slightly different form than what we’re all used to, however. Starting today, you’ll get to follow the journey of a viking as she travels to the Deep North and explores the new landscape there. Allow us to introduce you to Hervor Bloodtooth:
From there the rest of the blog is pretty much in video format with an image or so and some other descriptions. Be sure to click the link above to visit their official site and check out the entirety of the blog! 🙂
