Qvaid and I completed our play through of Unplugged on Tuesday evening! Effectively right as we were trying to find the next check point and/or level to call it, it turned out, we finished the game in its entirety!
It was certainly a decent game; Qvaid and I both felt it was worth the price. Over all, it was a fun mix of game mechanics, and a bit of frustration.
Now to be fair, perhaps they covered the game mechanic that allowed you to ‘reel’ in your partners plug, but if so, Qvaid and I missed that some how.
This led to some relatively frustrating game play until we finally figured that out a few levels in. With that in mind, should you give this game a try. Stand next to your unplugged partner, and press B repeatedly to reel in their power cable so you can reach it and plug it back in safely.
All that said, Qvaid and I both still enjoyed the game, albeit it was certainly a short run. At full price around $6, I would say it is worth the price regardless of whether or not you can catch it on sale. It had a bit of everything Qvaid and I tend to enjoy in our co-op adventures. Perhaps a bit more humorous situations would have been nice. Other than the game mechanic we likely missed (if I’m being honest), it has a bit of a challenge, some great game mechanics concerning the robots abilities, and we enjoyed it.
In any case, we are on to the next adventure!
