Trine: Enchanted Edition

CO-OP Gameplay!

I purchased this game quite some time ago via a Steam seasonal sale. Not long after that purchase, I loaded it up so my wife and I could give it a test run. At that time, we didn’t really give the play through a fair shake. We got distracted by another game, although which of the slew we went through escapes my mind at this particular time. I suppose I could say that worked in our favor, because it appears the game got a rework, and it has caught our attention again. My wife and I hopped into Stardew Valley after the 1.6 Update launched yesterday, but we couldn’t really find any of the new content. After several days (in game) of searching, and working through our typical routines, we decided to place SDV on hold for a bit, and move on to something else. Trine just so happened to be that next thing. The game can certainly be challenging to play in a CO-OP style, but personally, I think it is worth it. The requirements to work together remind me a bit of It Takes Two! which is a game my wife and I love dearly. It was our introduction to ‘our game nights’. I’m looking forward to working our way through another title that should have an ending, similar to how we started these adventures. We also have the other titles included in this series: Trine 1 – 5, so there might be more of these posts to follow as we complete them and move to the next! 🙂
