With the recent completion of our run through Nikoderiko and a failed attempted at another game on Tuesday evening, Qvaid and I were going over our list and came across this purchase from the Steam Spring Seasonal Sale. We decided to give it a try. It appears to have made the cut, and Qvaid and I will be working through Star Trek Prodigy Supernova for our game night sessions for a bit.
Our initial impressions are fairly good. It has decent graphics, a bit of action, some story, some humor, some co op aspects, and puzzles. Not a bad combination of things we tend to like, albeit, the Star Trek motifs isn’t one of our usual genres.
I mean I like some Star Trek myself, but I also don’t go out of my way to watch television for the most part. It’s just not really my thing.
Needless to say, while it probably won’t make it to one of our favorite games, it seems to be a good game to us at least thus far.
