Split Fiction, a game from the creators of It Takes Two! Hazelight Studios! This is game Qvaid and I ran across at some point that released today (March 6th 2025)! We are both incredibly excited to see what this game has to offer. It Takes Two! is the game that started us back on the path to our game nights.
It just so happens Qvaid and I wrapped up our final run in Outward Definitive Edition last night! Just in time to add Split Fiction to our schedule!
We have quite a few games we purchased during a few Steam Seasonal Sales in line, but we had to make room to get a start on Split Fiction! The game play trailers look amazing!
Split Fiction might not be the It Takes Two! sequel Qvaid and I were hoping for, but it most certainly looks like it could be the absolute next best thing! We’ve played quite a few of the games Josef Fares and his studios have put out. They’ve all been fantastic games that Qvaid and I have come to love!
If I’m able to run Split Fiction in Linux on Fedora 41 KDE Plasma, I feel like Qvaid and I are going to love it! We haven’t been disappointed by anything from Josef Fares and any of his studios thus far! If everything goes as planned, there should be more about the adventures to come in the upcoming Hobbit Plays posts!
