Sackboy: A Big Adventure (Complete)

Complete – Bit of a spoiler

My wife and I actually completed the game recently, but as a bit of a spoiler, it unlocked a bonus world. We decided to give the bonus world a go, as we have had an incredible time playing Sackboy, and were a bit sad to see the ending so soon. One thing that is at least a touch frustrating about the bonus world is the number of Dream Orbs required to unlock all of the blocked content. We were short on the first lock at 220, and went back earning the required orbs to move forward. Once we got the required 220, and beat the first stage of the world, We had the daunting realization that the next lock requires 275 orbs to get to the last stage of Wonder World. I understand the content blocks to some extent, but I feel like the number of orbs required for the final lock might be extremely close to 100% completion of the game. While for completionists, I can see this as a bonus, but for those of us that are just playing along and enjoying the story, gameplay, and humor, I feel it’s a bit much to ask. In truth, I used to be a bit of a completionist myself, but my wife never really has been. On another note, not every game I play would I strive for 100% progress either. I could also be mistaken on the exact level of completion required to move forward in Wonder World, but it certainly appears to be close to me at least at a glance. All that said, we have still been enjoying the game, and my wife and I are still planning to give the bonus world our all. I will say, that Wonder World will certainly try your level of skill in every stage we’ve encountered in the world thus far.
