Having completed our run of A Way Out on Wednesday, Qvaid and I looked over our collection of unplayed games and decided to go with the recently purchased River Tails: Stronger Together.
We started the first session on Thursday evening and had a fantastic time working through our introduction of the game.
I’ll be the first to admit, it got off to a bit of a slow-ish start. There are also times when the camera angle can be a bit problematic.
All that said, however, so far Qvaid and I are enjoying the game. It has a bit of humor here and there, some decent game play, and an over all pleasant look and feel for us. It doesn’t compare to the likes of our recently finished Split Fiction, but even at full price it show and holds value for us. Of course that said, we did get a bit of a discount on it during the Steam Spring Sale.
Given we are only 4.3 hours into our first session, I feel like it is holding up rather well. While we are still fairly early into this adventure, at the time of this post, Qvaid and I both are enjoying it. I suspect that will be the case for the remainder of our play through of this indie action co-op adventure.
