After a scrapped attempt at another game, my wife and I decided to give Outward Definitive Edition a try on Tuesday evening. Thus far the game seems to be fairly interesting, although we ran through the tutorial, and had some issues using Xbox controllers. We are hopeful it was just some bug with the tutorial as we haven’t made it far enough into the game just yet to see if the issue is present in the main game. To my knowledge at least, it’s the first game in the RPG genre my wife was interested in playing together. We’ve had several games in our list that might be something close, of course. It seems to have a bit of everything, combat, magic, survival, crafting, and the like. It certainly sounds like it could be an amazing adventure! Let us hope it shall be! 🙂
