After quite a bit of a hiatus, some thought, and a bit of reflection, I’ve decided I just might have it in me to continue work on Nobodies Heroes after all. Today marks the return of the website I started as a bit of a gaming community for friends and family in October of 2022.
While I realize the site doesn’t serve a lot of purpose over all, it has been a fun hobby for me. The break I took, let me know that it doesn’t necessarily have to have a real purpose to be of value for myself on any concrete level.
Technically speaking the domain name has been up even after I called it a day back on the 12th of May, 2025. I just took the forums down and then eventually took down the WordPress site, leaving behind a single page (mostly unedited), with a brief message.
All that said, I didn’t keep notes of the gaming I did over the lost time. For the most part time from 05/12/2025 – 08/18/2025 is lost. I’ll pick up (or try) from today moving forward. I’ll add some of the new games we’ve played or tried as I note them, but the Hobbit Plays, schedules, patches, and what not will have to continue from this point forward. Qvaid and I recently started a new game, while deciding to put Dysmantle on the back burner for a bit. I’ll post about that soon.
For the majority of the time above, Qvaid and I took a gaming break so to speak and started watching TV shows together as a bit of a change of pace. Since we started a new game, and the majority of the shows we were watching are out of season (we binged watched several shows, and multiple seasons of said shows), we decided to head back to the gaming hobby to bid our time again.
I’ll admit I’m excited at the prospect again, and I worked through restoring the site from an offsite backup, along with some instructions from my web host. I believe I have everything back into its proper place, including the automated backups, but we’ll have to see if I followed said instructions clearly and properly as I go.
