LotR: RtM Patch 1.5.1

News

Free Range Games announced the release of Patch 1.5.1 for Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria today via their Discord. I also noted a mention of the patch on their Steam site, which you can take a gander at here.

At a quick glance the update mainly comes to correct issues with the Patch 1.5.

Ironically, our group hasn’t really dove into RtM all that much and lately our interest has been in other games entirely. I found the game to be quite a bit of fun. That said, personally, I think it could use a bit more balancing in the way of buffs, and combat mechanics, but perhaps that is of course just my personal opinion.

Here are the updates:

  • We have fixed an issue in large player construction bases where enemies could spawn mid-air and descend in the middle of a base. Sieges should occur more naturally now.
  • There was an issue where player planted trees would revert to a previous growth stage if lighting conditions changed. After a save/load, this could leave the trees in a broken state. The problem has been resolved.
  • Finally, we have resolved an older issue where customized dwarf physique like shoulders, waist, chest, belly adjustments would revert to default settings after equipping armor. This bug became more prevalent with the introduction of Cosmetic armor through the Wardrobe. Your chosen Dwarf body types should remain now!
