Several of our group are going to be giving Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria another attempt. We still aren’t exactly positive what broke the stride of our first attempt, although theory is it was another game someone wanted to play.
At the time of this post, I only know of Kilen and myself, but I believe Error (my son) might also be willing to play, given his schedule allows. His current job only allows him every other weekend off.
Ironically, that run or start as it were should be either later today (after work) or perhaps tomorrow depending on how scheduling goes for all of us.
We also haven’t discussed the logistics behind this upcoming attempt. In truth, my preference would be a fresh start, with perhaps the idea of picking back up where we left off previously (or just continuing the new run). I know we certainly had mistakes on our first attempt, and it has been some time since I’ve played, so I feel like a fresh start might help alleviate all the mechanics, skills, and other tid bits I’ve likely forgot since our first attempt.
In any case, there should be some mentions of our adventures in the Hobbit Plays post next week! I’m certainly excited about it in the over all scheme of things. Albeit perhaps a bit somber as I know it will definitely mean less No Man’s Sky game play.
I definitely enjoyed the little exposure we had on the first run, so it holds quite a bit of promise for me for some great times!
