Lego Harry Potter Collection (Complete)

Games News

On Thursday evening (the 4th), Qvaid and I completed our run through Lego Harry Potter Collection.

Although I managed a bit of work on mostly the back end of things for the site; I was busy on Friday, and never got around to posting about it.

Much like many of our other gaming adventures, the completion was both thrilling and somber. On the one hand we did it! On the other, that adventure has now come to a close.

With something around 81 hours in total, Qvaid and I both had a blast reliving a bit of the Harry Potter story line, with the Cliff Notes like approach to the cinematic scenes. It has certainly brought a new perspective on just how fun the Lego series of games can be.

We had made an attempt at Lego Pirates of the Caribbean some time ago, but the way the screen split on that one had me in fits in terms of 3D sickness. I admit there were a few times in Lego Harry Potter Collection (especially in Years 5 – 7) where I had a small struggle on a stage or so, but over all, it was a very pleasant gaming experience.

Tons of laughs, tons of fun, and tons of adventure! Qvaid and I both really enjoyed the game. It is a bit up there in age, but as fans of the series ourselves, it was certainly a great way to touch back on the fond memories of the books and movies of such an amazing magical world.

Game long, my friends. Game hard.
