Hobbit Plays: 04.18.24 – 04.21.24

Hobbit Plays News

There wasn’t much variety in the gameplay this weekend. As unfortunate as that may be, in all earnest, I was just happy to play some games with the group as much as we are able too manage. The group size this weekend was pretty consistent at the 3 of us, (Error, Kilen, and myself (Hobbit)).

The weekend ended on a somber note for me (Sunday around 1:30 PM), and most certainly my daughter. Tigress, my daughter’s cat, and my furry gaming buddy, set off on her journey to the rainbow bridge. I will miss her shenanigans without a doubt, and I know my daughter will miss her dearly as well.

Farewell Tigress. You will certainly be missed. Not all gaming buddies are human. You were the bestest cat.

Days played: All week

Players: Hobbit

Comments: Originally, I forgot to include my gameplay of Summoners War for this week, for some odd reason. I know at the time frame, I was playing it every day for the most part, albeit, I might have had a weekend day here and there where perhaps I skipped out. As I’m going back through the Hobbit Plays post to edit them to the new format, I just decided to add it here as it was missing, and I’m sure I played it at least some (if not all) this week.

Days played: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Players: Error, Kilen, Hobbit

Comments: As I mentioned above, the variety of game play this weekend was not there. Now that said, as I mentioned prior, I was just happy to get some game time in with everyone in general. It’s not a complaint by any means. Over all, we mostly played armor in HLL this weekend, trying to improve and learn the ropes of tank play in what can be a complicated war simulation. We had some good matches, some decent matches, and most certainly some bad matches. On one server, we did so poorly we were affectively called a brain dead tank squad. To be fair, that match was particularly bad for us. But it goes without saying that we did have a pretty bad stroke of luck in that match as well. The majority of the community in Hell Let Loose has been fantastic. Needless to say, that particular server is no longer in any of our lists for future gameplay. Ultimately they are not really at a loss for anything, especially as we are still learning the ropes, and likely to have many more mistakes to come. But maybe one day, we will be on par with at least a majority of the community, and that one day, it could be their loss.
