Hopefully, everyone had a fantastic Easter Holiday with friends and family! We certainly did at The Shire! Just a simple meal of hot dogs, finger foods, with some sides and snacks here and there. We had a decent showing of family and friends!
The gaming this week was stellar as always. It lacked a bit of variety, but everyone that participated was happy with the games played, the time spent, and the adventures shared!
The upcoming week has Clan Wars again in The Quinfall. My scheduling doesn’t really allow me to participate on Monday – Thursday, but I’m certainly looking forward to some possible wars on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if there are spots open, and people are wanting to hit it!
Game long, my friends. Game hard.

Highlights

Days played: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Players: Qvaid, Hobbit
Comments: Qvaid and I made some great progress on our adventures in Caldera this week. We have 3 total specialized buildings with upgrades cooking, and we’ve managed to upgrade the Stock House (or whatever they call it) for New Sirocco.
We have had some fairly rotten luck with samples, although we did branch out a bit and hit dungeons we don’t normally frequent. That was likely the cause of some of the bad luck at least.
We ended the week with the three specialized buildings still being upgraded while we roam around dungeons and areas in Caldera looking for more samples. We did get lucky with the special resources for the builds, although we both know just how many of those samples you need alongside with luck in the RNG that you’ll get the specialized materials to build and ugprade those buildings.
Thus far we have 5 houses, masonry, hunting, and lumber lodges, the city hall, black smith, and food store. On this run we decided to go with the Embassy for the City Hall (but we don’t really have a choice since we are not Blue Chamber), the Communal Food store upgrade for the Food Store, and the Armorsmith upgrade for the Blacksmith.
The remainder of the buildings we will choose is still up in the air a bit, although we almost always build the Arena, so it doesn’t leave a lot of room for other options. I believe we do plan to build the Chapel since we are Holy Mission.
In any case, Qvaid and I are having a blast, and we are looking forward to more adventures next week!

Days played: All Week
Players: Aces, Kilen, NXUS, Hobbit
Comments: Aces and Kilen made strides on their Lifeskills over the last week! I mean, I’ve done a bit here and there as scheduling allowed, but I certainly haven’t been able to keep pace as it were.
That said, I did finally give in and I built an altar base. Initially it was quite a bit larger. I got to thinking about the efficiency and what not though and I cut it in just about half. I’ve already filled it out with my work benches, and with some luck I’ll give it some test runs soon.
NXUS was able to join us this weekend. He had to transfer back to his previous schedule after his training ended at work. He still only gets the every other weekend off, but it did allot him two weekends off in a row. Sadly, there wasn’t much in the way of experience groups going. He made progress though with the help of our Clan, Aces, Kilen, and myself.
He ended the weekend later in the evening on Sunday at a touch into 92. Over all not that bad considering the slow call for experience / farming groups.
I can see Aces and Kilen have a ferocious itch to level those Life Skills up. I’m hopeful they find time for a bit of balance for some dungeon runs, experience/farming groups, and some PVP in the grind some where.
I suppose even if not though, I can use the time to grind out some resources and Life Skills myself. I mean, I’d love better chances to enchant gear and what not.
