Much like all my other weekends, this weekend was packed full of gaming fun! We had a total of 4 people gaming this weekend, albeit, only Saturday night for the most part, and Sunday my son and I were left to our own devices, while one of our gaming pals played Project 1999. You can view their website for a bit more on that classic bit of MMO fun. Take head though, my gaming friends, it is certainly not a game for the light hearted. The community of P99 (and EverQuest) for that matter, is like none other than I have ever encountered, but that game is about as hard core as it comes in terms of grind and difficulty. There are often times, I look back on both EverQuest and P99 with great fondness. Alas, for me the time it takes to maintain progress in a game like that is a bit more than I care to manage at this stage in my life. I’ve all but given up on MMOs entirely for that reason. In any case, on to this weekends gaming round up! I am sad to report, I didn’t get any GTA:V in this weekend. With all that was going on in RDO, we were all anxious to grind in that to get some much needed RDO, experience, and role ranks before the bonuses disappear!

Days played: All week
Players: Hobbit
Comments: As always, I was playing Summoners War at least in some form or fashion the majority of the week. Most of it consisted of just finishing up my daily quests, events, and then auto farming, until I felt I had pushed enough. I did call it a bit early on a few of the weekend nights, so I could put focus on gaming with my friends. Albeit that was generally quite a bit later into the night, and I’d already had a good set of farming behind me at that point. Over the course of last week, I managed to 6 star and level pretty much all the units I had recently summoned that was new, save for a few, that I stored for another day. I don’t want to burn all my resources just yet. You got to save some for that unit you find incredibly interesting, so you can build it immediately after all!

Days played: Thursday – Sunday
Players: Error, Iron, Kilen, Hobbit
Comments: That’s right partners! We certainly set aside the time to delve into what has become one of my favorite games to play as of late. Fast travel has been free ALL week, and it spilled over into the weekend. This topped with double RDO, Experience, and money from Bounty Hunter missions made for a lucrative weekend for most of us if I don’t say so myself. The Carcano Rifle was on sale, and I was running behind on Rank 50 to get my hands on it before the sale ended. Thanks to all of our gaming friends, the majority of us did manage to snag it at the discount! We started a round of gameplay on Thursday evening, which is technically when our group starts gaming together. We continued with a session on Friday evening after work for three of us. On Saturday, we started the day with it, and after a few small breaks in between, we had a posse of 4 roaming around the Wild West, doing bounty missions, running story missions for Iron, and I managed to get my Moonshine operation to a start. On Sunday, my son and I played the earlier part of the day into an early evening. We took advantage of the free Fast Travel and rounded up the remaining pieces of 4 entire collections, and handed those off to Madame N for a nice payday, and some serious experience for the Collector role. This pushed me up to rank 52. Was a fantastic way to end the weekend.
