Funcom announced the release of the March Update 2025 for Conan Exiles earlier today via their Discord and Steam site. As always, you can take a peek at the official patch message on their website, here. There are a few images included, in their message as well if you are interested in that. Nothing too out of the way considering previous videos, images, and posts, but it is there none-the-less.
I suspect the additions will be rather nice the next time we head back over to the lands of the Exile and try to carve out a living for our group!
Patch Notes – March 25, 2025
Siege of al-Merayah
The Stygian Legion have abandoned their stronghold within the Exiled Lands, and the Dogs of the Desert have reclaimed the Ruins of al-Merayah. This means the keep is gone, and the area has been refitted back to being a Dogs of the Desert NPC camp. The Jhebbal Sag cave shrine linked to The Sacred Hunt is still intact and available.
The Keep at al-Merayah was a consistent source of reports of poor performance and server stability, so we made the difficult decision to raze the keep and return it to being a Dogs of the Desert camp.

Stamina
We received a lot of feedback that said you weren’t happy with the stamina changes, stating that the cost was simply too high – so we’re going to meet somewhere in the middle.
First, we reduced the stamina cost of attacks by 50%. This keeps the balance of relative value from weapon to weapon, keeping them feeling different from one another, and also allows you to perform full combos with even two-handed weapons with only 100 stamina.
With the reduced stamina cost of attacks, we can be more gentle with stamina regeneration again. We’ve returned stamina regen time to its previous timing, and reinstated the Exhausted state that occurs when your stamina is depleted.
In total, the following changes have been made:
- Reduced the stamina cost of attacks by 50% from their current values
- Restored stamina settings to the same or similar settings to prior values
- StaminaRegenerationTime = 3.75
- StaminaExhaustionTime = 3.75
- StaminaOnConsumeRegenPause = 1.3
- StaminaOnExhaustionRegenPause = 2.75
- Restored the Exhausted state, and left out the slide-in message that informed you your stamina was empty.
