My wife and I have recently started dedicated nights that we play co-op games on my PC together. It all started with a gem of a game called It Takes Two (more on that to come). We have since completed that title, and I started searches for games we could play together either via split screen or just basic co-op style. We tried 9 Parchments, but the game turned out to be a rogue like style that starts you over each time you play, which wasn’t really to the liking of her typical play style. We moved on to Trine, and while we enjoyed it, we started playing Rayman Legends together, and have quite a few more titles in line to start after we finish that. One of my favorite hobbies is gaming, and I have to say it has been far more of an enjoyment getting to include her in something we both enjoy. She is more of a console gamer, so a lot of these co-op games we play certainly cater to her play style more. I’ve been enjoying the fact that unlike most of the games I’ve played in recent years, I can actually complete it. It does take patience, to play a co-op game with a loved one, but if you can manage that, it can certainly be a good way to get in some quality time.
