Magic The Gathering: Arena
Website: Wizards of the Coast
Current Status: Retired
Ah, Magic The Gathering. In my youth, I had quite an addiction to playing and collecting MtG cards before it broke onto the scene of digital game play. I’ve toyed with Magic The Gathering: Arena several times. It has a somewhat friendly free to play aspect too it, although there are certainly options to spend as well. Most of our group have retired again from the MtG scene. While some of us had hope of making a bit of a return, it seems the cost of the ccg is a bit steeper than the majority of us would like to consider investing in. This asides from the fact that the gameplay tends to become more and more complex over the years, and competitive decks tend to range from the $1200 to over $5000 range.

Marvel Snap
Website: Marvel Snap
Current Status: Retired
With my adventures in Raid Shadow Legends coming to a close, and a bit of time to spare lately, a good friend was quick to recommend Marvel Snap. I remember him bringing it up some time ago, and I did try it out then, but time constraints and scheduling caused me to abandon it fairly quickly. I decided to give it another whirl, and I have to say I’m glad I did. It provided me with quite a bit of fun for some time, before I ultimately decided to retire it. I still game, and I game often, but i decided there are some games that tend to take up a bit more time than I’m willing to dedicate to it to stay competitive.
