Without going into an incredible amount of detail (because – spoilers), our group somewhat recently, in a manner of speaking completed a run through BG3 (estimated about 2 – 3 weeks back). Those that know the ‘early-ish’ ending will know what that entails. We forked the save we were playing, completed the game via that alternate ending, and gained the achievement in the process. All that said, we are very much still playing BG3, and in my opinion I believe it holds quite a bit of replay value. Especially in terms of multi-player gameplay. There is a massive amount of story line that can’t really be experienced fully without the NPC party member in your group for example. The devs of BG3 also hinted that it would be nearly impossible to experience every story line for the NPCs in just one play through, as certain story arcs lock you out of others based on your decisions. Baldur’s Gate 3 is truly an amazing game. It has consumed quite a few of our weekends as of late, and looks to be the plan even still for quite a few more to come.
