Larian Studios released a community update for their Discord this morning. Along with the announcement for an upcoming update: Community Update # 26 Evil Endings, New Beginnings. There was also an official thread on their Steam Website, which I’d suggest giving a look! Proceed with caution though, as the site mentions spoilers may lie ahead! My son and I have a copy of our ‘evil campaign’ so the possibility of new endings seem interesting indeed. In truth, my usual preference is to play the role of good. Evil tends to be an easier tactic to maintain, to me it is a harder path to do what is right. But, I can’t say the campaign has not been fun, and an incredible journey. We do have several good based campaigns going as well, albeit the majority (if not all) have been placed on a temporary hiatus of sorts lately. Our gaming group is all over the place. 🙂

Learning From Our Journey With You
Closed Beta
It’s no secret that game dev is one gigantic learning curve, but it’s these learnings and your feedback that help us improve, so we are introducing additional internal playtesting ahead of releases to support our regular QA process.
With Patch 7 being packed full of bug fixes and new features we’ve yet to go into detail on, there will also be a closed beta on PC where a select number of players worldwide will be given an opportunity to test the latest update – which we’ll talk about more in the coming weeks!
Your Feedback
Your feedback has been, and remains, invaluable.
While our development priorities are now shifting, we are also reflecting on how we gather your feedback in the future and are working on new processes that aim to streamline this, including opening limited feedback channels to allow better visibility for particular feedback after big patches. In the meantime, we’ll be re-purposing the Unknown channel as a server feedback channel, so that we can continue improving your space here in the Discord, while also introducing a new troubleshooting channel with direct guidance on how to contact our support team and submit a bug report.
Thank you
