My son and I finished up a playthrough of co-op on Portal 2 over the weekend. While I suspect the solo playthrough of the game is fantastic, I’m doubtful I’ll ever get around too attempting it anytime soon. Our gaming group typically beats me online, so it’s a rare occurrence that I make any attempts to play solo games these days. In truth, that is not a complaint, as I do prefer to play games with friends and family. I certainly enjoyed this game and I believe my son did as well. We had a few spells in between Baldur’s Gate 3 where we managed to finish up the final stages. Much like a few other puzzler games I’ve played there is little to no combat, but the mobility in the game along with the combinations of the puzzles more than make up for the lack of said combat. This is another title I’m glad to have finally got around to completing, even if it wasn’t a solo run through.
