No, not credit cards! Content Creators. This page is dedicated to some content creators that have made games better for me at some point or another. These content creators were at least someone ‘I’ found to contain information that was generally helpful or entertaining to ‘me’.
J.C.’s Channel
J.C.’s Channel is probably my most favorite content creator to date. His content consists of game plays through games he likes or was gifted via his community. His originality and ‘story mode’ of his 7 Days to Die videos was more so my draw to his channel. From the rise of the Zombie Research Initiative to his adventures against the Anti-Zombie Research Initiative and various ‘Old Ones’ have been truly entertaining for me. His content might not be for everyone, but his imagination, mix of humor, and general style of game play certainly makes the top of my list. In recent years, his story mode game play has dwindled a bit as he’s moved more to streaming with his community, of which, sadly I rarely get to partake of, since his scheduled times are usually out of the realm of ability for me. I still watch his content on a regular basis, albeit primarily his 7DtD content.
Kanaju
While I admit, Kanaju’s content and name for that matter certainly ring a bell; I can’t say for sure if I viewed it on my first run through of No Man’s Sky. I came across his content recently while playing, and quite a few of his videos were quite interesting for me at least. He had some great ideas about numerous manners to improve on NMS, and certainly has gaming at a core part of his being. He also, of course dabbles in other games, and does some game development on his own. His personal website, listed on his YouTube channel states he is proclaimed the #1 Fan of Bioshock. I haven’t played the Bioshock myself, but every gamer I have ever talked too that has played it, seemed to love it.
SheenShots
When Qvaid and I started our adventures in Outward, we quickly realized we would need some guidance and tips if we were hoping to succeed. We managed to find that and entertainment from SheenShots Outward videos on his channel. Most, if not all of the Outward videos are a bit dated, but the majority of them are still viable and entertaining as well. Just the tid bits of knowledge we’ve gathered from a few of his videos have helped us quite a bit in our attempt to play and learn Outward. As of the time of this posting, I haven’t got around to watching his other content just yet, but I imagine the majority of it would be fairly similar to his guides, builds, and live streams of Outward.
SoulSniper
SoulSniper’s YouTube videos came in pretty clutch for some of our gaming group in NobodiesHeroes in Hell Let Loose. He has some pretty outstanding guides on game modes, roles, tips, and especially beginner guides. I’m currently in the process of checking out their Discord server, although, I’ll be the first to admit that I rarely stay in other discord servers. The majority of our group tends to hang out in our own as it were. We have played on their Hell Let Loose servers at least a few times, and they are in our favorites in HLL. They tend to fill up relatively quick, so it isn’t always easy to catch a game on them. Even still, I know the channel has certainly provided me with a good bit of HLL information, and I find it to be entertaining as well!
SurvivalBob
SurvivalBob was another content creator that I seem to remember visiting often on my first run through No Man’s Sky. He tends to mix a good bit of humor in his content, and his tag line of: “If you are going to be a Bob, have fun with it.” certainly shows. I enjoyed quite a bit of his content, and he tends to play survival games of varying sorts as well. Humor plays a pretty significant role in the majority of content I seek. Laughing is good for the soul, my friends! Certainly worth a look if you are interested in similar content.
Viva La Dirt League
Viva La Dirt League isn’t really about gameplay per se. They make skits based on games, and I’m a fan of a vast majority of their content. Some of their projects have been rather large, and it appears their brand has grown over the years. It’s a great mix of humor, combined with a gameplay (and making fun of said games) style theme. Certainly worth a look for anyone wanting to be entertained with something pertaining to a gaming theme.
Xaine’s World
Xaine’s content consists mostly of No Man’s Sky. He does have some for Starfield, and Valheim, along with a promise for some other titles in the future. I can’t be positive, but I’m pretty sure I watched some of his content for NMS my first run through of the game. I did a cleansing of my YouTube subscriptions awhile back, but I’ve since added him back to my list as I’ve really been enjoying NMS, and I’m trying to maximize what I can do. Some information he lists on his page are: “I find the best ways to do things and then make a video on it. Gaming, Maths and Min Maxing everything.” While I don’t always take it to quite that extreme, if I can learn some more efficient ways to do things in the process of entertaining myself, all the better!
