
Vawraek Technology, Inc. announced the release of Patch v1.0.0.23 for The Quinfall on Sunday, April 5th via their Discord and Steam page. You can caravan your way over to their Steam page for a look at the official patch message, here.
If I’m being honest, the new pvp arena content was quite a bit of a let down for me personally. The drops from the pve mobs in the area are completely random. At one point we were something like 15 kills in with several in the group that had not even received a single drop yet.
In truth, it’s 20 million coin to enter the area. I feel like at the very least the loot should be on a round robin with the entirety of the group. With the price tag to enter, I don’t think it would be out of the way for loot to drop for everyone in the group when it does drop.
Then there is the PVP. The area comes off to me as something right out of the brain child of Raid Shadow Legends’ Plarium. It appears to be nothing more than an area designed to scoop up players to fall prey to the onslaught of insanely geared Whales.
All this of course, being only my personal opinion. I’ll admit, I’m excited about the idea. I just don’t know that it was implemented all that well in the over all grand scheme of things. Especially not when you consider the comments from the devs concerning the new arena content.
I’ll be sitting that content out for some time with the 20 million coin price tag, at least until there are some improvements to the entry fee, the drop rates, the combat balance, or a combination of it all. Since I have no intention of selling off the enchantment resources, I don’t see any viable way to recoup your entry fee. Even if you did, you might not gather enough to do so in any case.

The Quinfall – Patch v1.0.0.23
Hello everyone
We are going to release a new patch today. This is the first major patch of the full release. It includes combat zone updates, balance changes, and much more. You can find all the details below.
- Fixed an issue where sprinting while jumping did not consume stamina.
- Increased the daily limit of the Prize Wheel (using in-game Silver)
- Removed the fall damage animation.
- Fixed a visual issue related to the recently added armored costume.
- Fixed an issue where characters could sometimes take damage in their spawn area after dying in Arena battles.
- Made minor adjustments to World Boss schedules.
- Introduced Elite Accessories along with the Blueprint system used to obtain them. A new Elite Conversion system has also been added to crafting stations, allowing players to upgrade existing accessories.
- Added Vorgath Blood, which is used in the Elite Conversion process.
- Added Concentrated Creature Essence to the production station.
- Level 100 Legendary/Rare equipment can now be recycled at the recycling station to obtain Ancient Ore, with the amount varying based on the item’s star level.
- Added the Nyxium material to Smelting stations.
- Sword and Shield Shield Bash, After using the skill the character now gains 25% movement speed for 3 seconds. The stance animation at the end is removed.
- Sword and Shield Heroic Drop, Area diameter is increased by 25%. The character getting stuck on the target is removed.
- Dual Dagger Razor Shuriken, After using the skill the character now gains 30% movement speed for 3 seconds. Damaged enemies are slowed by 30% for 2 seconds.
- Dual Dagger Death Waltz, Attack animation is sped up by 80%.
- Spear Rule, The character getting stuck on the target during use is removed.
- Spear Face Off, The character getting stuck on the target during use is removed.
- Spear Mirage, The character now gains immunity to negative effects for 1 second during skill use. Also, the character getting stuck on the target during movement is removed.
- Spear Equilibrium, The HP value of the passive skill is increased from 40% to 60%.
- Spear Spearfall, Area of effect is increased by 20%.
- Spear Lance Cyclone, Area of effect is increased by 20%.
- Dual Axe, Basic attack animations are sped up by 25%.
- Dual Axe Slaughter, Slows the damaged target by 30% for 2 seconds.
- Dual Axe Battle Roar, HP loss during skill use is removed.
- Dual Axe Deathroll, Area of effect is increased by 20%.
- Dual Axe Rage Burst, Movement range is increased. HP loss during skill use is removed.
- Dual Axe Guillotine, Animation speed is increased by 40%, range is increased. 2X
- Dual Axe Cruel Authority, Effect range is increased by 40%.
