Another week with a bit less variety, but another week of some really great gaming! This week consisted of just some Outward: Definitive Edition gaming with Qvaid and The Quinfall with the group that plays, alongside our clan members.
At this particular time, Outward and The Quinfall are certainly keeping this ole Hobbit occupied, so the fact that there isn’t a lot of variety is not a complaint mind you.
There was talk of some Return to Moria earlier in the week. I actually missed the message and NXUS pointed it out to me. Unfortunately, I guess the scheduling didn’t work out so we didn’t really get around to it at any point.
After I noted the message, I let the gang know that I did have some clan wars to attend in The Quinfall as I had already missed Monday – Thursday. I told our clan I would do my best to make the weekend days to finish out the week. The wars started at 7 PM CST, so my guess is that didn’t really work out well timing wise for the rest of the group. I’d estimate they last sometime between 1.5 – 2 hours in total. I’m almost positive it is closer to the 1.5 hour mark though, as I recall being wrapped up by 8:30 PM CST.
Another bit of a short list for Honorable Mentions again this week. The few people I noted jumping around seemed to have settled on a game or so in particular, and the majority of us are in The Quinfall.
In a bit of irony, I haven’t even logged into No Man’s Sky, myself, for a fairly decent amount of time. It’s not that I don’t still enjoy the game. More so that I’m really enjoying The Quinfall, and I’m trying to get the most I can out of it before the fires burn down with the remainder of the group.
Game long, my friends. Game hard.

Highlights

Days played: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Players: Qvaid, Hobbit
Comments: Monday – Wednesday evenings, Qvaid and I had some pretty sharp focus on the completion of our Holy Mission Faction Quests (well, asides from the side quests we were working on of course). We managed to bring those to a close later in the evening on Wednesday, and started the quest to begin our next set of adventures in Caldera!
Qvaid and I love the Cladera area and all the content it provides! We’ve already had 4 runs in Outward where we completed all the faction missions, side quests, and rebuild of New Sirocco!
This little adventure will be the 5th time in total! Now we’ve probably had something around 6 or 7 runs in total, but our first attempt, or perhaps or 1st and 2nd attempt were a bit of a wash! In any case, Qvaid and I are both very excited to get started on Caldera again! If scheduling works out as it should, Thursday evening we’ll be back in the volcanic region, fighting our way through the dungeons, lands, and collecting those samples needed to get New Sirocco underway!
Thursday evening, Qvaid and I finished out the week of adventures with a huge head start on New Sirocco! We made some incredible progress on rebuilding the city! We also managed to get the fertilizer required for the city to start their new Ambraine farms up and going.
Don’t get me wrong, we had a few snags here and there. Caldera is no joke, and the dungeons even more so. Qvaid and I had a catastrophic defeat in the Sulphuric Caves, although I have to admit the Myrmitaur Hive gave us far less trouble than we expected!
We finished out the night completing the fertilizer quest, and a bit of inventory management to prepare for more city building, quests, and adventures for the upcoming week!

Days played: All Week
Players: Aces, Kilen, NXUS, Hobbit
Comments: It’s pretty much become a routine of sorts for me to login to The Quinfall every day at this point. On work days, if I manage to get up early, I run quests, gather resources, chat a bit, etc…
Once the work day starts, I transition into something that doesn’t require much attention so I can focus on the things I need to focus on. Sometimes that consists of back to back Caravan runs or auto-fishing.
Since I’ve managed to get level 100 and I have my weapon skill (Lifestaff) to 100, my plan is to focus a bit more on gathering resources and working on Lifeskills at some point. I suspect the majority of that will be on the weekends as scheduling allows and/or those early morning gaming sessions before work.
I managed to get all my gear to a mixture of +5, +6, and +7 stars. All the gear has power stones and full talisman sets as well.
The difference it makes in PVP is astonishing to say the least. I mean, even considering everything is still quite low on the over all scale of things, it is nice to see some improvements!
On Sunday, the Clan’s leadership all of us had joined, decided to do a merger with an Ally guild. We are all still together, although we are no longer Veydrin.
We all ride under a new name and a new flag, but we are all still riding together!
As far as I can tell, everyone in our group has been having an absolute blast in The Quinfall over the last few weekends! Even NXUS seems to be enjoying the MMO far more than I ever anticipated!
