Larian Studios announced the release of a hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3 today via their Steam page and Discord. You can teleport over to their Steam page and have a look at the official message, here.
At a glance, the hotfix was mostly for issues concerning consoles (PS5, Xbox, and the Steam Deck), although even still it is nice to note they have not forgotten about their previously deemed masterpiece.
BG3 is such an amazing game! Ironically, our most successful campaign was a set of Dark Elves we all made in a somewhat well, ‘chaotic’ campaign run. Mostly we were murder hobos, but we had a few good or at least neutral deeds to be performed by our group. The cleric I had was just an incredible amount of fun to play!
Stay safe my fellow adventurers! -Hobbit
Hotfix #35 Now Live!
Version Number: 4.1.1.6995620
Hello folks,
We’re dropping by to serve up a small hotfix today!
Focusing mainly on improving performance, this update should resolve some crashes on consoles and address certain issues on the Steam Deck. We’ve also gone ahead and bumped the default Upscaling Type from FSR 1 to FSR 2.2 on Steam Deck Native, which should result in sharper visuals overall.
We hope you’re all staying warm during sweater weather (or cool during sensible thin cardigan weather in the southern hemisphere).
Check out the hotfix notes below!
