Free Range Games announced the Durin’s Folk Expansion for Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will be released on November 18th, 2025. There were some videos you can take a peek at on their official Discord, here. There is also a Steam site already available for it, if you would like to see what is available about the new expansion, here.
Several of our group has LoTR: RtM, but in truth we barely scratched the surface of what it has to offer. It held vast potential for a great contender with our typical 7 Days to Die gaming sessions.
Sadly, it fell to the way side some time ago after a brief run or attempt as it were. There are so many games after all, and only a limited amount of time.
Perhaps one day we might visit the dark caverns again on our dwarves in an attempt to survive in the depths of Moria. Should that adventure ever come back to the thralls of our group again, I’ll be sure to let you know.
