The Quinfall: Update Notes (10.14.25)

Vawraek Technology Inc. announced the release of Update Notes 10.14.25 for The Quinfall on Monday evening. To be fair, all of their updates kind of work this way, I presume because the development occurs outside of the US, likely on another time zone.

From the looks of the state of things, I’m guessing the Token Exchange rates were intended. It’s a bit unfortunate for those of us that were partaking of the daily (or routine) ritual, but I suppose in the end, it is what it is. I’ll just save those resources now, and apply them to other things in game, like actually leveling the trade skills involved.

On an unrelated note, I’ve been playing the game in Fedora 42 KDE Plasma Desktop. There have been improvements to the stuttering I encountered when we first started, but recent changes make lighting a bit more frustrating (which I combated by turning off Shadowing), and instead of the stuttering while riding my mount in sprint mode, I’m occasionally met with a complete game freeze for a few seconds. Albeit, that is fortunately rare, but still a minute amount frustrating to say the least.

It is an early access game though, and I can tell you from what I’ve gathered, the devs do try to please their player base. I don’t know if anyone on Windows is encountering the same issues I have.

The water gathering method in game is still incredibly tedious. I hope they address that at some point in the near future. Standing crotch deep in water, repeatedly tapping the ‘f’ key to gather fresh water or salt water is such a lame experience. I mean, there is literally an in game method to ‘auto-fish’!? Why am I having to do this to get the materials I need for cooking and alchemy!? The method to gather water in The Quinfall is about as useful as a bomb technician on crystal meth! *BOOM*

Update Notes (10.14.25)

Olympiad War Fixes & Adjustments:

  • Fixed an issue where some players would enter the Olympiad War arena as dead.,
  • Fixed an issue where players’ MP (Mana Points) would not regenerate upon entering the Olympiad arena.,
  • Measures have been taken to prevent an issue where some players would fall through the ground upon entering the Olympiad War.,
  • Measures have been taken to address an issue where some players were unable to see their target in the Olympiad War.,
  • To ensure fairer 1v1 matches in the Olympiad War, Clan Skill effects and Food/Potion buffs have been deactivated within the event.,

General Fixes & Updates

  • Plants that grow from seeds will now be automatically removed if they die.,
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from harvesting mature plants for 1-2 hours after they ripened.,
  • We are continuing to investigate bugs and make necessary adjustments to the Olympiad system.,

Important ReminderPlease note: The use of Lifestaff healing skills and HP/MP potions is prohibited in the Olympiad War. This is an event rule, not a bug.
