This week was truly a great one. It went by rather quickly at least in my opinion. The game sessions for Qvaid and I were fantastic, as were the few of us that met to play some games together over the weekend.
Several of the group are still MIA for the most part, although we do see them on Steam here and there at random intervals. Typically in those cases, I just chalk it up to this is what they had time for, and/or maybe they were just in a solo game play mood. I know I noted several of the game playing solo based games (or at least games that ‘can’ be played solo).
I have hope we’ll all make it back around to some more gaming group sessions at some point. Even still all the gaming was still a blast for those of us that was able or wanted to participate.
An entire weekend of No Man’s Sky!? I couldn’t really believe it myself. It was indeed, quite the surprise. Error, Kilen, and I were getting ready to login to something, when Error said, I’d really like to play some NMS. He said he’s noted Kilen and I in it several times, and he was hoping to do some catching up his self. That was it, we were all in NMS on Saturday for some scifi, space bound adventures! It’s by far one of my favorite games, so there certainly were not any complaints from me for the choice of the day! As it turns out though we ended up making a weekend of it!

Honorable Mentions:
Valheim, Starfield, Trine 2
Ironically, there isn’t a lot in the way of Honorable Mentions this week. Although, there were some:
Iron played some Valheim, Aces played some Starfield, and finally Eldon played some Trine 2. I don’t have exact times, days, etc… on these. The majority of this information was the random note from Steam notifications as I worked, or was gaming myself through out the week. There were no honorable mentions concerning NH Plays game time as those of us that were gaming together, played the same games through the entirety of the weekend.
Highlights

Days played: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Players: Qvaid, Hobbit
Comments: Qvaid and I wrapped everything up in Cierzo, including heading to Vendavel Fortress and wiping it out. This should keep Cierzo safe while we are away to experience the story from the side of the Sorobor Academy.
We packed up all our supplies and headed to Harmattan to join the Sorobor Academy as per our intentions on this run. This marks the 4th run of our adventures in Outward Definitive Edition and the final faction quest line in the game to date.
Outward has been a truly amazing set of adventures for us thus far. We have enjoyed all the faction quest lines to date: Blue Chamber Collective, The Holy Mission, and the Heroic Kingdom of Levant. Each one offering a glimpse into the over all story line that your characters have been beset in.
Once we arrived in Harmattan, we started the process of joining the Academy. Low and behold, our Tribal Blood Price followed us even to the ends of Aurai!? Even still, we managed to work out way through the process of joining the Academy.
While Qvaid and I were working our way through the Sorobor Academy quest, we found ourselves faced with the Rust and Vengeance quest at the earliest point we’ve ever attempted it! We got our faction quest to a point where it didn’t appear to have any timers going, and focused on Rust and Vengeance until we had it completed.
From that, we spoke to Victor and got packed up some supplies to head to Levant. It seems there was an engineer in Levant he wanted to work on a new battery and housing for the Golems Harmattan use as protection against the Scourge. We managed to wrap that up fairly quickly even picking up the optional materials from the Electric Labs for the Levant Engineer, Orsten.
As we were getting ready to head back to Harmattan to report to Victor, Orsten let us know he had some work completed for Gregory Turnbull and asked that we deliver it too him. Qvaid and I happily agreed, and we were headed to the Sorobor Caravan shortly after, packed up and ready to head back to Harmattan.
We’ve been working our way through the faction line through out the course of the week, and managed to make some fairly decent progress. Now at some point, we did have to face off against some Wolfgang Mercenaries. This has both of us vaguely worried that they may now be on poor terms with us. We haven’t tested the theory quite yet. We just so happened to have camped with 3 more days left on the timer to get our next Quest from Gregory Turnbull. It was also hinted to us that Victor might also be on poor terms with us since our attempt to help Gregory likely foiled his plans.
At that point in the week, no further game time came to be, so we’ll have to see what all those choices meld into at the start of next week’s game sessions!

Days played: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Players: Error, Kilen, Hobbit
Comments: Kilen and I hit up some No Man’s Sky on Friday evening. I was super happy to be flying through the universe in an endless exploration of new discoveries. I worked on a quest I picked up on a planet that was rather strange. It had me investigating all these underwater bases. Once I had that wrapped up, I went back to progressing the Artemis Primary quest line. We both played, hopping into each other’s game as needed, although for some reason NMS has been kind of wonky with Multiplayer. It keeps dropping us from Group.
Error, Kilen, and I were back in NMS again on Saturday. It was later in the afternoon, but I do love me some NMS so I was ecstatic to play it again. Sometimes I struggle to maintain focus in the game, but I did manage to at least split the time of things I was working on for the Artemis and collecting portal glyphs, which Kilen started working on. We both got a good set of them done before everyone started crashing for the night.
Kilen and I picked back up on Sunday, shortly after we started our session I had the portal glyphs complete and Kilen finished up not long after that. I managed to get to what appeared to be the end of the Artemis Primary Quest Line, although I chose to Explore for longer. I started working on the Atlas Path from there for a bit, until I got side tracked and started exploring one of the new galaxies I ended up in during the jumps to find new Atlas Interfaces.
By that point, Kilen had already called it, and never made it back. He had some things to work on to get the house ready for some work being done on Monday, and said it was possible he could be back, but unlikely if he was tired or beat by the time he finished up those chores. I finished out the night exploring the planets of that final galaxy, and saved on the final one to explore before I too decided it was a bit past time to call it for the night.
