7 Days to Die: V1.0 Stable

News

The Fun Pimps announced the launch of V1.0 to Stable today. I noted on Steam V1.0 was available to run sometime around 12:00 PM CST. I’ve already swapped my client over to V1.0, and did some work on the 7 Days to Die Dedicated Server, Iron hosts to get it ready. You can take a peek at the official news on their website, here. My memory could be failing me a bit, but I’m almost certain Kilen and I came into the picture of 7DtD around Alpha 13. We’ve played on and off ever since! We have a relatively large crew that joins us on occasion for some surviving in the vast zombie apocalypse. It is always a great time! If I’m being honest, I had hopped that a ‘skill’ progression would be implemented at some point again, similar to the method used by some of the more popular mods. I’ve always enjoyed the fact that the skills I’m using progress with use. Sadly it doesn’t appear to have been in the cards for the initial release at least. I imagine how quickly that method was dropped in previous alphas means The Fun Pimps ultimately didn’t take a liking too it. A shame, but even still the game is full of action, loot, adventure, and fantastic times! Good luck out there survivors!
