In a somewhat rare occasion for me, I had to leave town for a work conference Wednesday – Saturday. This did put a bit of a damper in the gameplay for me this week, but over all, I was still able to get some gaming in with the group! Scheduling had us initially set to stay at the conference until Saturday, mostly due to the desire to avoid traffic on Friday evening. My son (Error) came to the rescue and I was able to head home Friday after the conference ended after all. After a brief catch up with family, hugs, love for the pets, and some outside time with the granddaughter, Error, Kilen, and myself (Hobbit) were ready to fire up the PCs and commence the gaming!

Players: No one
Comments: I was out of town, and had a busy day at the conference on Thursday, so there was no gaming to be had for me. Sadly, I didn’t even manage any time to play Summoners War on this day, which is very rare for me. This of course to say, it’s not a complaint. It’s rare that life gets in the way of gaming for me these days. There was work to be done, and I was happy to do it. Over all the experience at the conference was fantastic! It was for software our company makes a lot of use of, and it was an incredible adventure of its own.

Comments: Another weekend where the variety wasn’t quite there in terms of what we played. Now in this particular instance I was happy to be gaming with my friends. As I mentioned above, based on the original schedule, I was um, destined to miss Friday as well. Had it not been for the grand rescue of my son, I wouldn’t have been home until later in the day on Saturday (perhaps around or after lunch, at best). My son and I had already prepared to play Destiny 2 on Tuesday before I left, and I gave several gaming buds a heads up on the journey home so they might also be prepared to jump in on Friday evening. As far as I can tell, the test run, we had of Destiny 2 went splendidly! I’m looking forward to some more gameplay on it in the upcoming weekend!
