7 Days to Die: V2.5 Apiary Hotfix Stable

Games News

The Fun Pimps announced that the previously released V2.5 Apiary Hotfix would be going live to Stable today via their Discord and Steam page today.

You can shamble your way on over to their Steam page for a look over the official patch message, here.

Seems to be quite the fast turn around from EXP to Stable these days. The Fun Pimps are really getting after it!

The hotfix includes quite a few fixes I’m sure the 7 Days to Die community will be pleased with, but as The Fun Pimps mentioned, the most important being a chunk corruption fix that was implemented along with the other fixes.

Stay safe out there, Survivor, and be sure to scavenge an extra bit for me! -Hobbit

V2.5 Apiary Hotfix

Howdy survivors!

We are pushing a hotfix to Stable today that will address a few issues before a much larger V2.6 update coming in a few weeks.

The hotfix includes many improvements to the Apiary, but most importantly a fix for some chunk corruption issues. Also note that the bee swarms have a chance to spawn when the Apiary is closed instead of when opened. This will allow players to add flowers or tool mods without having to worry about being in the window.

We have also have a fix for the Hellreaver cosmetic console spam and the shin guards not showing on the female version. Several other outfit fixes as well.

Here is what else made it into V2.5 b27:

Added

  • CloseEvent XML property in blocks.xml for use with the Apiary

Changed

  • Reworked loot lists and quality templates to allow Quality 6 (Purple) clothing to spawn in loot
  • Increased the chance to find clothing items in loot
  • Updated English Apiary to inform the player that the bees will now spawn when closing the Apiary instead of when opening it

Fixed

  • Apiaries could cause NRE resulting in chunk write errors and reset on dedicated servers
  • Errors when zombies went into destroy area mode near bedrock
  • Twitch Integration Error on Dedicated Servers
  • Gift subs with multiple subs only counted as one gift sub
  • Apiary honey progress indicator was not updating properly
  • Apiary mod visuals were not showing when returning to the chunk
  • Honey was producing in the background while Apiary slots were full
  • Cloth Shader for wasteland assassin’s cloak was causing issues
  • Female Hellreaver boots were not displaying the shin guards properly
  • Tree Hat DLC was clipping through ears, chin and/or back of the head for Native 03
  • Pirate outfit eyepatch was clipping on some characters
  • Lumberjack Gloves were invisible in first person view for female characters
  • Camera no longer stutters when driving a vehicle (Note: This issue still applies to passengers – we are actively working on a fix)
